Letting go of trying to change or control people really frees you up to be able to enjoy them so much more.

Speaking of confidence, kids are not great for it. I was digging through some old docs and found a passport from 20 years ago! My kid saw it and said "Wow Mom, you were a baddie... what happened?!" 😭

I read an article once years ago that I am not condoning or supporting in any fashion, but it was really interesting in that it’s probably the reason I have as much confidence as I do. And so, everyone should know this… The article was written by a woman whose hobby it was to “steal other women's men”. So, clearly, that’s not cool, and also, unless you’ve actually kidnapped someone, people aren’t stolen, they leave. But, none the less, she claimed to be good at this, and explained how she did it. It’s a bit counter intuitive. You would imagine that if she’s looking to ‘steal’ a man who’s wife is a solid 8, well then she needs to be a 9. But, apparently that’s the wrong strategy. She said that instead you need to be refreshingly different from whatever he’s got at home. If he’s married to a tall blonde type A attorney, you should be a brunette carefree artist. She can be a 9 and you can be a 7 and this will still work. He doesn’t want more of what he has, he wants something new and exciting. So, again, not condoning this, but the moral of the story that I learned here is that people want unique. You don’t need to be the smartest, or the prettiest, or have the biggest boobs. You need to be a unique flavor that someone hasn’t had yet. People, men and women, love that shit!

One of the most sad and disturbing things about the red pill crew is that they just don’t know that women are people. Like they really, really think that women are just NPC incubators, care givers, and resource consumers. But when you try to dig into why, you realize that they also don’t know that men are real people. They think that men are, and should be, sex/war/money machines. You can’t see others as fully human when you can’t even see yourself as fully human.

Be a good simp! Enthusiasm is healthy. It’s great for you, mind, body, and spirit. Express enthusiasm whenever you can! The trick is to find people that are worth your simping. And not just people you want to get into bed with, simp for your friends. Just dive right in to being a massive fan girl for all the amazing people you know! [And the trick to simping whilst not being a creep is to do your simping without expectation. Express love, and enthusiasm, and respect, without thinking the object of your simping owes you anything in return. And yes I know, some people would define a simp as someone who does expect something in return. But don't be that person. And just have a bit of fun with me here.]

Most of my talks are in the Bitcoin space, but I’m stepping out of that lane a bit to share ideas with the FinTech crowd! I'm thrilled to announce that I'll be speaking at FINNOSUMMIT 2025, one of Latin America's leading FinTech events, happening in Mexico City. We’re at a pretty pivotal moment—financial technology is making a real difference for real people and businesses, especially across Latin America. There’s a lot of exciting stuff happening, and it’s a great time to be building. Join us on September 24th and 25th at Expo Santa Fe, Mexico City! image

How do you avoid falling into a pit of anxiety when you see news of a tragedy? It used to be that I viewed tragedy as shameful. My subconscious thought process was “they should have somehow known or been able to avoid that” or even “that happened to them because they sinned and angered god.” But now, I have accepted that this life is temporary and volatility/danger is a truly unavoidable component of life here. Now when I see photos of tragedy, or people lost to tragedy, I take a moment to note how awesome and brave those people are. They were out living their lives in the face of danger. Amazing. I note how awesome and brave we all are to show up here and to carry on living every day knowing that there is no safety in this life. What utter badasses we are! Carry on.

Happy Father’s Day to the men who didn’t just contribute genetic material, but who have taken on the everyday work of being present and caring for their families 🫶 We need you.
