Hello #nostriches. On this edition of #asknostr I wanted to ask how to get in touch with the community of Nostr Developers?
My reason for seeking help:
I am trying to make an Decentralised invoicing app for freelancers who wish to accept payments for their effort in #bitcoin
I would like my Nostr Client to be able to handle invoice creation, then sending the invoice as a Nostr DM or as a PDF that contains a Bolt11 or LNURL-Pay QR code which has the amount baked in. The nostriches have to connect their wallets via NIP-47 (NWC) so they will receive their sats directly in their wallets!
Since I am new to Nostr I wanted to have a conversation with people who are more experienced with building Nostr Clients in the past on how you build this stuff.
Any help or guidance towards finding a place where the community gathers is appreciated.

I have left @primal and moved to @npub18m76...q955 after I learnt of the censorship controversy. Regardless of if the app actually censors or not, I have experienced the Primal App to be quite broken in the sense that sometimes I only get a blank flat screen with no loading icon and no elements rendered.
Damus - I have heard is comparatively more bug-free.
Why is #windows such a bitch-ass stupid OS telling me constantly about what I can and cannot download on the PC that I bought and paid for?
If I say I want to download it then I want to download it. As simple as that.
Inspired by @paul keating's beginner’s guide to Nostr… I decided to make my own #introductions post as he guided in his post.
So I discovered #nostr as a way for achieving greater privacy and avoid censorship when I was going on a spree of leaving conventional social media which gathers a lot of user data - a lot more than i would prefer.
In fact, it was @jack who introduced me to the platform by a video in which he was giving a presentation of somekind. It sounded like a great idea to me to use bitcoin since i had some bitcoin on me at the time.
Although I have used most of it on paying for my VPN subscription but I am sure I will keep zapping here and keep asking questions since I am quite new to Nostr, Crypto and Blockchain.
Overall I have been liking my stay on the Nostr Protocol & @primal.
Hopefully Nostr is one of those good things that neither ever come to an end nor ever change…
Here’s to Nostr ☕️

Why not compare with RetoSwap? Sorry I am new to crypto…
I have been in this space for a few months and all I can say is that there is a cost to freedom
and I would rather pay it with crypto😜
