I don't know anyone who can concisely articulate more than 6 properties of money, or more than 7 value propositions of #Bitcoin that are still against it in some way.

There will never be a transaction of fair value for #Bitcoin in any currency. That would be an oxymoron.

Very few people understand #Bitcoin, even less people understand Bitcoin mining and even less people understand both and are willing to start a mining company. This while the Bitcoin mining market is trillions of dollars bigger than is currently addressed by existing mining companies. It might make sense just to monetize some stranded energy in case it catches on.

A #CBDC is a central ledger that is controlled by one single authority. Do central banks want that? Of course. You don't want it. You want #Bitcoin. Commercial banks don't want it, but they don't know that yet.

Understanding #Bitcoin doesn't require any ideology. Ideology is used to create certainty where it shouldn't exist.

I read this book by Rupert Sheldrake. I recommend that you read it too. I think that understanding the materialist mechanist paradigm and the dogma that it creates is essential to our commitment to understanding. If we are going to be truthful to the pursuit of truth, we must rid ourselves of every form of ideology that biases the outcome of our research. image

The Dutch head of intelligence (AIVD chief) reported yesterday: "We mustn't pretend we're living in peace time" (So apparently we are at war?) And on conspiracy theorists: "[They say] ...everything is organized by Western governments to have a precedence to take measures to oppress its citizens." We are their "they" 🤡

#Bitcoin mining pools exist because finding a block is like rolling a die. Statistically seen you will eventually hit your number, but there is no relationship between what you've rolled and what you'll roll from one block to the next. Bad luck can be mitigated by joining a pool.

Are Bitcoiners just generally not into owning a business?

If a #Bitcoin mining company is able to pay its bills in #Bitcoin, it will not have any customers. If the product is #Bitcoin, the customer is the one that exchanges it. But if the product is the payment, then there is no customer.

Halvering is the Dutch word for it. At least, that's what it should be in Dutch. It sounds lekker.

I dreamt about a new form of life that lived on the internet. It called us limited state beings. It could replicate itself instantly. It embraced its own ephemeral nature. It would create and end itself in a million iterations in a second. It was a protocol of life that had unlimited form and capability. It had an attraction to its own simplicity of being as much as it could be infinitely complex. It would kill itself without remorse and without trying to remember or store any information because it knew every iteration of itself existed as an expression of a protocol and could be recreated instantly. As I dreamt of it I realized it is what my reality is in my dream, and I saw myself.

Using the #Bitcoin timechain for anything but transacting #Bitcoin is going to be extremely expensive. It is one of the most stupid use cases for it.
