Every cent in a credit system is a loan. That's why it is called credit. Credit and interest go together. Interest compounds. This is unsustainable because it requires money creation to pay the compound interest. To make the compound interest more affordable financial repression emerges. Financial repression isn't a solution to a problem, it emerges from a condition called unsustainable debt and it can only lead to yield curve control. Yield curve control is a policy to make believe a loan contract is more valuable than it actually is.

Policy needs an economic foundation. First and foremost it needs to be enforceable to be cost effective. If it isn't cost effective, the phenomenon that the policy was meant for must be allowed until a cost effective solution is created. #firstprinciples

I think people will make decisions based on their wants, and like Menger discovered wants aren't constant. Economy is an emergent behavior of the human condition that is ever changing based on available supply. Just like people never knew they wanted a smart phone, now they do. People will always want certain things, and especially things that give them more autonomy tend to become popular. So assessing a general consensus of the population is only subordinate to assessing the available technologies that give people more autonomy. #Bitcoin and #nostr

#Bitcoin isn't an ideology nor does it need one. An ideology requires belief. Bitcoin is a protocol, it responds to conditions and from that all it does is emergent. You can add an ideology to Bitcoin, but Bitcoin will never depend on belief. It is safe to take "don't trust, verify" literally.

Astrology is a paradigm. It doesn't help to disqualify paradigms without understanding them. Most people who disqualify astrology have simply no idea how astrology as a paradigm could have any merit whatsoever. Astrology is best understood by explaining the influence planetary bodies have on us in their elliptical orbit around the sun, always moving to or away from us on earth. This influence is resonance, planets vibrate in their own frequencies and vicinity amplifies the influence on other bodies. Our solar system is a giant clockwork that has a full period of approximately 26,000 years in which all bodies pull on eachother in their spiral movement in our galaxy. The force Jupiter exacts on the sun for example is great enough to make the sun revolve around the center of the solar system in stead of its own axis, so the sun isn't the center of the solar system. So it doesn't require much imagination to say it's plausible that Jupiter by coming closer to earth has a strong gravitational pull, and with that a tuning quality, resonance, that influences every molecule on earth. #nostrology
