If your follow count was severely incorrect in NostrGram (namely "5 followers" instead of thousands 🤯) it was due to a strange issue with the db server that took me a while to figure out. Well, I didn't actually figure it out I just started rebuilding the follow counts in a different way and it works now. 🤷 At any rate, your follow counts should be correct now. #[0]

I can see that the day will eventually arrive when NostrGram only reads from paid relays or relays that have solid spam prevention in place. The number of duplicate spam posts in Global when not filtered is insane. The majority of notes coming into the NostrGram database every day is from spammers. That's not tenable long-term. For now it's manageable because Nostr is small, but that won't last forever.
