got the afternoon off work yesterday so took the opportunity to go pick up my feed order for this year's duck batch. 70 bags of organic starter grower because of weird wyoming economics it was more cost effective to buy 70 bags than it was to buy a tote and 20 bags. got feed home and unloaded, about half of the feed protected from mice. and yes, the farm dogs loved the trip. Hatch is in 3 days, less than 1 week until ducks are here less than 2 weeks to repair Pasture pens and build replacements for last years wind casualties as well as get waterers built and leak proofed, and more and more lol #grownostr #quackstr #farmstr #foodstr #busyfarmer

@Guy Swann episode idea: how unsound money effects balance of product based business vs service based business. how does this effect overall incentives when the better performing businesses trade time and services for currency vs trading well made product for currency. how does sound money encourage business to focus more on quality of output vs billable hours? heard a call for ideas on a recent episode and thought of this this morning.

I've noticed that @primal consumes data at a surprising rate, at least I think that's the source, my settings say it has not been very bad, however since getting on nostr and utilizing primal, my phone has used hundreds of MB of data more than prior usage. how is everyone else's experience? solutions?

I don't think my first attempt at this post worked so: got my duck brooder built yesterday. a little overcomplicated but I wanted to capture the effluent that messy wet ducks make rather than let it pass through the bedding and soak my shop floor. last year I made elevated floor brooder but didn't get catch and gutter system installed until this year. the gutter leaded to an oil pan(unused) for collection and use in a watering can. last year I learned that the elevated floor kept the bedding and ducks a little more dry. I also discovered that young ducks were prone to falling through the cracks, thus the addition of landscape fabric. happy spring! #grownostr #ducks #quackstr #farmstr
