He’s too young to sign up for Strike (or any KYC platform). He’s too young to open a bank account. He’s not interested in paper money. He wants digital money so he can buy game stuff online. I pay him his allowance in bitcoin to his Primal account. He doesn’t have to send me an invoice, I just zap him $50 or whatever. Then if he wants to spend on a game, he can request a purchase through the apple App Store, i get a notification first from apple, then i get a notification from Strike saying that he zapped me $5 to cover the cost of the purchase. It’s perfect for someone his age. I couldn’t do this with cash app, PayPal, a credit card, a bank account. NOSTR + Bitcoin is the future. Some of us are living here now. The others will find their way.”

Someone I love wrote to me with a Kickstarter project, asking me to back it I wanted to, but then was hit with the permission wall: sign up, create an account, give us all your information, credit card info, all this stuff The current web is built in an infuriating way where you can only support those you like through permissioned walls built by rent-seekers posing as "connectors" So, I didn't proceed, and didn't back them, which sucks I hope they will join us on Nostr soon so I can back them effortlessly with sound money and no-rent seeking I think it's just a matter of time ⏳
