To think that in many countries, there is no way to accurately view your mobile coverage to your ISP, or any ISP as a matter of fact, is really bad. At the very least, there should be a way to see if you can connect to the internet with a particular network in in the area that you're standing.

Have you ever had an issue with your relays not delivering your messages? Maybe it's time you use a paid relay.

Obviously, bootstrapping your own LN node is hard, but it is also fun, because you get to understand how all the parts fit together, and it's what I do. But some people prefer apps like Strike, Phoenix, and others which you can download on your phone and open all the channels for you. Maybe because they don't have the budget of many hundredK's of sats required to open enough channels to be well-connected. Or maybe because it's just easier. The analogy perfectly fits with setting up your own software (or hardware) wallet instead of leaving your coins on an exchange. But that's quite an unsettling comparison because of how often exchanges fail. So at any rate, post in the replies your preference!
