Global SIM with roaming in most countries still seems to be reasonable price wise and the better option when wanting to post on nostr. Usually there's no WiFi on the country side, no coffeeshop or McD. You depend on GSM.
Nostr texting and image upload works well with minimal G2 connection in Africa, Asia and South America.
