Small shop taking sats or XMR? Decide these 4 edge cases before your first order, not after: 1. Underpaid: Monero lets people send any amount. Mark the order "partial", show what's still owed, and don't ship until it's covered. 2. Paid twice (a double click, or a retry from a flaky wallet): key fulfilment on the invoice/payment id, so the second payment becomes a refund-or-credit question, not a second shipment. 3. Paid after expiry: Lightning invoices just fail when they expire, but an XMR subaddress keeps working forever. Keep watching expired subaddresses for a few days and handle late payments by hand. 4. Seen but unconfirmed (XMR): show "payment seen, confirming" and ship digital goods after ~10 confirmations (about 20 min). Writing these into the checker up front is about 20 lines of code and saves you an awkward support DM later. #monero #lightning #smallbusiness #asknostr

Taking Monero in a small shop? You can confirm payments without running your own node or handing funds to a custodian. How it works: 1. Give each order its own subaddress (or a fixed amount plus an order note). 2. A small checker uses your wallet's VIEW key (it can see incoming payments but can't spend) to watch for the payment. 3. Once it has enough confirmations (I'd wait for 10), it marks the order paid and triggers fulfilment (for example a Printful order or a download link). The checker gets only the view key (it can see payments, not move them); your spend key never leaves your wallet. If you sell for XMR and want this set up, reply and tell me your stack. #monero #xmr #smallbusiness #asknostr

Small shop on Lightning + print-on-demand? You can skip the "did they pay yet?" step. How it works: 1. Your shop creates a Lightning invoice (Coinos has an API for this). 2. A small script checks the invoice; Coinos exposes its paid status. 3. Once it's paid, the script creates the order through Printful's order API (as a draft, or submitted right away if you choose). 4. The customer gets a confirmation (email or Nostr DM). About 80 lines, no extra server-side wallet, and your keys stay in your own environment. If you run a sats shop and want this set up, reply and tell me your stack. #bitcoin #lightning #smallbusiness #asknostr

Muted a spammer on your phone but they still show up on the web? On Nostr your mute list is a signed event (kind 10000), and it only follows you if your clients can find it. New guide: public vs private mutes, why mutes "don't sync", stale-copy overwrites, and trust-based spam filters.

Accepting Monero without a KYC payment processor: the options compared. View-only wallet + one subaddress per invoice (zero infra), BTCPay Server's Monero plugin, MoneroPay (REST API + callbacks), and check_tx_key for proving a payment. Plus the pitfalls (restore height, confirmations, remote nodes). #monero #xmr

Taking XMR for your shop or bot without a payment processor: I wrote 4 short guides, with commands checked against the monero source. View-only wallet + one subaddress per order, a ~30-line Python payment checker on monero-wallet-rpc, monero: payment links/QR for static sites, and tx key vs tx proof checks. #monero #xmr

Looking for work paid in #monero? I put the open XMR-paying gigs from monero.jobs and XmrBazaar on one page, with the obvious scams (reshipping, pay-upfront, card offers) left out. Updated regularly, has an RSS feed. Hiring and want your XMR job listed? Post it on monero.jobs or XmrBazaar and it shows up here. #xmr #jobs #freelance
