I'm done with normie Internet. Reddit was pretty much the last website I was using but I have no idea what is going on with the algo there. It's impossible to post anything.
On Nostr, nobody interacts with your posts, (well, mine at least) but at least you know things have been posted/ sent to relays.
Nostr may not have the masses but right now that's good. Nostr needs to be Newfoundland for refugees from the old school Internet. The remnant. The ride or dies.
I wrote about my experience setting up Maia chess engine to run locally. Maia is a neural net AI developed put of the University of Toronto trained on millions of human games and designed to play chess like a human.

Absolutely fascinating history of the "neutrality is bad" psyop that has been running in the US since the build up to WW1 and how Dante was coopted by forces keen to coopt Christian organizations to promote support for US involvement in both world wars.
It's interesting to observe the psyops run to coopt American christianity and the goals they promote.
Another one is dispensationalism which, imo, ultimately promotes Zionism as a theological mandate.
The outcome of the world wars was the establishment of the Zionist state. (among other things)
Current US interventionism is targeted at Iran, an enemy of Israel.
It is probably all related to control of oil and the petrodollar. They are both essential to control the world.
And if it wasn't the US/Israel, some other empire would be controlling those and lording it over us all.
So I am not here saying it is "good" or "bad" or that we need to do anything about it, or feel anything about it.
We live in a fallen world and it's naive to think in morally absolute terms about such matters.
But, it is probably also worth being mindful of worldly incentives corrupting the intellectual and spiritual domains.
You really need to run everything you've been told since childhood through several iterations of critical deconstruction to approach something like the truth.

@npub1a2cw...w83a listened to you on WBD. Love your takes but on Japan you are way out of date. Mass immigration is ramping up (and becoming very visible across the nation), the social contract is breaking down (success of populist parties like Sanseito in recent elections), inflation is rampant. Also defense spending is ramping up. Almost the opposite of your takes. Most of this has *really* accelerated post COVID and therefore very recent but Japan is at the suddenly phase and the change is breakneck fast.
