I've disagreed with a few #nostritches here about #bitcoin so I feel like I should set out my store and be done with it for now. I want #BTC to work as a #currency. I don't care if it works as a measure of value. That's just not important to me. People like to have something they can rely on, Bitcoin, God, the USA, but nothing really stands the test of time. All we really have is energy and mass and the maths that binds them together. Even time may be an illusion. I'm okay with that uncertainty. In fact I kinda like it, because it looks like reality to me.

Can I #asknostr does anyone here look at alternative ecosystems at all? Or are most people here #btc puritans? I think there are some interesting side projects. Some are based on the idea that most of them are based on the idea that #bitcoin is now out of reach for ordinary people and they want to go back to #mining. I think these are the most interesting. #pinetwork is one example. They're more likely to succeed in the developing world, but it's easy to forget the developing world is the #future.
