I've been thinking about the threat of a #recession. Now a lot of people inside the #bitcoin community will say, #btc is the way to ride it out. A lot of people outside are saying #crypto is just another asset class and it will fall along with #stocks and #shares. The #truth is we don't know yet. This is the first time in bitcoin history we've been heading for a fall in the #markets. It really depends on the people who hold #coins, doesn't it? If they sell first, Crypto is in trouble. If they really do hold, it will be the making of #Bitcoin as a store of value# It's more about #psychology than #economics

I suspect #nostr has done wonders for #walletofsatoshi

I know this isn't the best time of day to #asknostr but... Why aren't #SpeedWallet #lightning addresses valid on #nostr? It seems to work fine generally speaking. I've sent back a nd forward from a few lightning addresses including #WOS. What gives?

As someone who's been on the periphery of #crypto for a while. something amuses me. The polarisation of this space is reflecting the wider #society. This is evidenced by people taking absolutist positions where they're not warranted. So let's dispel this. #Bitcoin won't be the only coin standing, because not everyone wants the same thing. Some people want the pure money of #monero Some want the #ecosystem #ethereum provides Some want the instant payments of #XLM And it goes on. So most #altcoins will fail, but not all and even those that do fail will fail slowly as they're redundant or superseded. People are messy and people use #btc so #BTC will be messy. Deal with it. It doesn't really matter.

Sometimes the most interesting things are the ones that aren't happening. See what's not happening to #xmr? #Monero chart image

I would like to #asknostr for a primer on how client #features clash. For example, I can #edit in #amethyst but does that show up for #coracle users? #nostr #apps #devs
