As someone who's been on the periphery of #crypto for a while. something amuses me.
The polarisation of this space is reflecting the wider #society. This is evidenced by people taking absolutist positions where they're not warranted.
So let's dispel this. #Bitcoin won't be the only coin standing, because not everyone wants the same thing.
Some people want the pure money of #monero
Some want the #ecosystem #ethereum provides
Some want the instant payments of #XLM
And it goes on.
So most #altcoins will fail, but not all and even those that do fail will fail slowly as they're redundant or superseded.
People are messy and people use #btc so #BTC will be messy. Deal with it. It doesn't really matter.

Sometimes the most interesting things are the ones that aren't happening. See what's not happening to #xmr?

I would like to #asknostr for a primer on how client #features clash. For example, I can #edit in #amethyst but does that show up for #coracle users?

I'm a little curious how other people mix and match their #socialnetworks.
Of course #nostr and #activitypub are the new idea on the block, but I still use #irc a lot of the time.
Can I #asknostr where else other people hang out? And what they use?
My IRC client of choice is #convos.
I've been trying a #linux #irc client
and it's pretty decent. It's not like any IRC client I've used before but I like it.
