genuine question #nostr and #btc tribe: how do you measure the "value" of bitcoin? hear me out and kindly indulge my curiosity. Rn, I keep seeing people thread after thread about bitcoin price. Which is seen in fiat value. On the other hand, I see people on here say fiat is losing value. Does this mean if fiat losing its value, how do we know the value of bitcoin which is now being "measured" in fiat? Do not confuse the difference between virtual vs in real life (IRL) friendship. Whilst both requires trust over time. The degree of trust given to someone in real life is never the same in virtual connection. If you trust people who hide behind their keyboards and screen barely showing their face, you'd question, why would they hide those very features that build and connects with you? Human nature is very visual. You create bond with them by seeing faces. You start to trust people when you see their facial feature, their eyes, their smile, giggle with them and relate with them. Words alone behind anonymity are not enough to find meaningful connection. It does not mean you cannot trust people with anonymity but that takes a lot of time to hone. Even that, it is completely different connecting with them in real life because you can sense: their energy, their aura and their vibes in real life vs online behind keyboards. Even if you see them once or twice in real life, it is not enough time to build one's trust and to connect with them. Whilst everyone has the choice to anonymise themselves, it does not warranty trust when you meet people virtually. Be wise with whom you call "true friends" and avoid being lured into a situation where your deepest desire are exploited - your loneliness. Connect with people in real life. Yes, online can be a best place to meet people around the world. But you see them in real life or if the location does not permit, you see them virtually on a video call face to face.
