Today’s throwback set
In true Oakenfold style, great track selection, with some mixing hiccups along the way
This is 1 of the 12 essential mixes he did in 1999, one a month, each from a different location around the globe

3 of my favourite movie soundtracks:
1) TRON: Legacy - Daft Punk
2) The Dark Knight - Hans Zimmer & James Newton Howard
3) Tenet - Ludwig Göransson
Any recommendations?

Foreshore vibes

For the past 15 years or so I have used a tax agent to help me prepare my tax returns.
But not working full time, and with tools like Claude Code in my pocket, this year I decided to build an app to help me prepare my tax returns for last FY and forever more going forward.
Took about a week longer than I initially thought, a 2 week process, but I needed to “cross the i’s and dot the t’s” as it’s taxes and we know that the tax authorities don’t fuck around.
Anyway finally at a point I can use it to file my return (a week late..) and in doing this work I have realised I am almost definitely going to get audited 🥲
At some point in your vibe coding life, you feel the strong urge to develop your own environment to supercharge your workflow..
“Simpsons did it” - I’m pretty sure @Pete Winn 🔆 said this on @Good Stuff Podcast
It was awesome to pay for goods/services with lightning for a bunch of things at the @npub1exhs...hdxk including:
- Jerky & biltong (x2)
- GreenBit miner (made in WA!)
- Accomodation
- Event donation
That being said, I do hope we can develop a much larger local Bitcoin circular economy. I stopped orange-pilling a while ago because it got too exhausting but I think I need to dip my toes back in…
Busso bush bash, first night 🤘
I listen to a variety of music, but nothings really beats the music you listen to during your teen years.
For me, that is trance and drum and bass circa 2000.
Probably the best trance set of the era is Live @ Energy 2000 by Tiësto. It’s an absolute banger!
I’m personally very reluctant to hand over even more data to user-is-the-product and anti-privacy entities, but it’s pretty clear to me that AI browsers are probably to be adopted by the general public in a massive way in the next few years..
People will throw random requests in and will be happy with the much lower friction to get stuff done
“Everyone wants a village, but no one wants to be a villager..”
That’s the state of volunteering in modern society right there
Just logged into LinkedIn (I don’t know why, morbid curiosity?)
It’s such a massive circle jerk
Probably not an original idea, but it would be awesome if the lyrics of this song were updated every decade or so.
I don’t listen to Billy Joel at all, but I just love this song and the picture it paints of society, progress and humanity.
