This was probably the toughest decision I made during the production of my book—asking a friend to write the preface, and choosing not to use it after I recognised AI in his writing.
I think @Bart Mol says it better than I could: "The process lost its integrity, like a permanent stain on a white sheet."
In the end, it didn't damage our friendship. It strengthened it.

The book is currently being typeset. Besides writing and editting texts, it's the only part of producing a book I can't do myself.
Typesetting is mainly necessary for the 32 page introduction section, and the 48 page context section with selected articles.
When it's is done there's nothing more to do...

It's been roughly 5 years since I drew this. Most of my newer work is A LOT more complex (multiple shading layers, way more details), but I really want to get back to this 'simple' style and flat colors.
