Saw this book in a museum in Amsterdam a couple weeks ago and it has stayed with me ever since. One of the best designed books I've seen. It's like a zine without a production budget. It's heavy and thick but compact. I loved the extra small type and narrow margins and thin paper stock. Will borrow a lot of design elements for the NoGood art book.

Couple of quick art book mockups. Thinking about keeping it minimal with a lot of whitespace, minimal copy and maybe some special sections with different paper stock for sketches or logos. What do you think?

I hope it makes for a nice break from the standard background though I'm not completely happy with it yet. I'll have to work on it some more. For a first version it's fine tho 😅 Planning to add more scenes and different backgrounds in the future!
