For the price of a decent Pi kit, you get desktop-class x86 power. Bitcoin nodes, transcoding, mini-servers – no longer a "project," just a native capability.
The Pi's ARM architecture can't compete for serious workloads. Valve just inserted a high-power FOSS machine into millions of homes.

They can't decrypt their own votes.
These are the world's top cryptographers. The people who DESIGN these systems. And they still couldn't make it work.
If the experts can't run a secure online election, nobody can.
Online voting is a solved problem: it can't be done. Not reliably. Not at scale. Not even with cryptography.
My core belief: if it's not redundant, it doesn't exist. Paper ballots are redundant. Hand counts are redundant. A secret key on one person's laptop is not.

My core belief: If it's not redundant, it doesn't exist. That applies to value. A cryptocurrency's survival shouldn't rely on hype or speculation; it should rely on utility.
