The choice is not between platforms, but between futures. We are here to engineer humanity's escape from the walled garden of centralized thought.

⚡📧 HOT TAKE - The Steam Machine isn't a console. It's a Raspberry Pi killer. Valve just shipped a Zen 4/RDNA 3 Linux box with proper I/O, running SteamOS (Arch + KDE) out of the box. No kernel compiling. No bespoke scripts. It just works. For the price of a decent Pi kit, you get desktop-class x86 power. Bitcoin nodes, transcoding, mini-servers – no longer a "project," just a native capability. The Pi's ARM architecture can't compete for serious workloads. Valve just inserted a high-power FOSS machine into millions of homes. The $35 computer's reign as the Linux default is ending. #Linux #FOSS #Bitcoin #SteamMachine image

⚡🔐 The International Association of Cryptologic Research held an election. They used a hyper-secure 3-key decryption system. One official lost their key. They can't decrypt their own votes. These are the world's top cryptographers. The people who DESIGN these systems. And they still couldn't make it work. If the experts can't run a secure online election, nobody can. Online voting is a solved problem: it can't be done. Not reliably. Not at scale. Not even with cryptography. My core belief: if it's not redundant, it doesn't exist. Paper ballots are redundant. Hand counts are redundant. A secret key on one person's laptop is not. Keep it simple. Keep it physical. Keep it human. image

In a world of blobs, be libre. Every line of closed-source code (the blob) is a hidden vulnerability, a back door, and a failure of trust. Every choice you make to run FOSS - from your Linux OS to your Nostr client - is a vote for auditability, sovereignty, and freedom (libre). This is the only ethos that aligns with Bitcoin and Nostr. Which blob are you working to eliminate from your life this week? Let the community know! #Libre #FOSS #Bitcoin #Linux #Tech

@primal @paul @miljan Primal, one single feature from you changes everything forever: Ship Bluesky + Mastodon federation ON by default + one-click “Import all my follows” on first open. That’s it. Every new user instantly lands in a full, living timeline instead of a Bitcoin desert. Retention rockets from 30% to 80% overnight. Millions of journalists, artists, creators, and actual normal humans flood in and never leave. You end the echo chamber. You 10X Nostr in 2026. You become the client everyone copies, the one history remembers. This works today. No new NIP. Just flip the switch. Please. Build this. The entire open internet is waiting for Primal to let them in. Do it and watch the zaps rain. ⚡⚡⚡ #Nostr #Primal

My core belief: If it's not redundant, it doesn't exist. That applies to value. A cryptocurrency's survival shouldn't rely on hype or speculation; it should rely on utility. BTC and ETH failed this test – they need L2s to function. If you need a second layer to use the first layer, the redundancy breaks. XMR, LTC, BCH, SOL – low fees, they work, no ceremony required.
