Sometimes I hear this critique of Bitcoin: It goes something like “Well if Bitcoin becomes the money, then all the people who have Bitcoin will have wealth and those who don’t will be screwed”. But look at our current situation… the top 1% controls about half the world’s wealth. At least with Bitcoin, the people control the money. Around 66% of the supply is held by individuals. And there is no money printer for the top 1% to use in order to grow the wealth gap. #bitcoin #wealthinequality #wealthgap
