so, i have to get a tax number, but with that i can open accounts with exchanges that have buttons on the common pay-in kiosks. they can do cash to crypto, or crypto to bank. might be a little more rigmerole to set up in kazakhstan and there is probably some daily limit above which tax gets complicated but that's a nice problem to have. in actual fact "living on a bitcoin standard" isn't difficult at all over here, in a lot of ways, actually easier. from the commissions i saw on the terminals, also, 1% at least for one of them so it's probably overall better than anything you prisoners of the alliance can get. yay. i get to be free of 1000$/year xapo fees - the account clearly will be problem with sanctions anyway, and i can still work remote and get paid in sats or fluffyponybits and tally ho to the grocery store.

So, the diagnosis from the bank was that kazakhstan is the enemy of eu and banned from paying to them. Suspected fraud lol. I am basically defecting. My xapo card will not work in kazakhstan either.i need an offramp to kazakhstan now. O joj

KYC is so gay. so, the last option i'm trying to use is binance pay for this kazakhstan VPS provider. but because my phone screen is cracked and there is a screen protector slightly mussing the image on the front camera, their facial recognition system refuses to accept the image any which way i try. now i am stuck with the bank helpdesk trying to figure out why the payment gateway is refusing to allow me to pay. and i'm pretty sure it's because of sanctions against russia. even tried google pay, same issue. through VTB bank. same issue. freedompay, same issue. and binance won't let me put credit in it because my phone has a fucking screen protector fuzzing the edges of the image. gay, gay, and most definitely thoroughly gay. it looks like maybe my final workaround is that O! mobile provider has O! bank and with that i can go draw cash from an ATM, then load the O! bank account and charge it that way, then it's a kyrgyz bank talking to a kazakh/russki bank and maybe that gets around it. last ttry lol.

man, it's a huge pain in the ass with so many online services inflexibly requiring SMS shit and phone numbers when one is traveling internationally and don't have a postpaid service that allows roaming where you are to receive goddamn SMS. another fun one is trying to pay for stuff like the VPS i'm trying to rent that is from a kazakh company datacenter in astana, the bank is flagging the tx as fraud lol. no, really it is not fraud, it's really me lol. xapo support has been pretty solid so far hopefully they can mark the merchant as not fraud and let me do it. i am actually very likely going to relocate my paper existence and official location to all the government morons to actually be there because i can most likely get residence there and i'd rather be based there if i have to have such a record. not russia, not eu, not au, not usa, not uk. where i fucking am. whatever, anyway it's so annoying all this shit. i can't pay by bank transfer, fucking $30 cuckbux wire fee what the fuck that's almost as much as i'm trying to pay. hopefully i can sort this out because i really would prefer to have lower latency access to my VPS, it's almost as far away from me now as you can get anywhere on the damn planet.
