Idea: A language learning app that's setup like an endless-scroll, short-video feed. Each video would show a single idea (word, phrase, letter, character, whatever) in context and the feed would have spaced repitition built in to reinforce those ideas. It could have a "comments section" where you reply to questions to test your knowledge of the idea.
The hardest part would be producing or collecting enough high quality content for it to feel immersive. Or perhaps it would have to be built on top of an existing platform and then what you need is to crowdsource a database of timestamped and tagged videos?
I'm tired of these fiat-ass woodworkers on youtube with their epoxy and 10s of thousands of dollars in tools (festool especially) just to make something that looks like it came off the IKEA factory line.
Attempted to make some nasi goreng (Indonesian fried rice) and I think it turned out pretty good, would definitely make it again.
