The biggest barriers to #BTC adoption are stablecoins, as they mimic the flow of btc “outside the banking system” while being fully censorable and surveilled. Most people in the global south still cling to them under the illusion that they are “stable” store of value instruments. Nothing could be further from the truth. The lingering question I have after reading this, is why are British authorities focused on this diabolical model when other European countries are deploying tech in schools without the surveillance?
