One of the biggest but underappreciated features of #Bitcoin is that it has zero counterparty risk. The serfs failed to understand the importance of this feature and opted for ETFs and shares in BTC treasury companies. If the current pullback persists, this will be their Waterloo.

BTC treasury companies with no underlying business except "buying Bitcoin" are experiencing their first true stress test thanks to this pull back. The biggest questions of the day are, should status quo persist, how many will be left standing? How many have been forced to dump some of their stack as we speak? Will they recover from that? You cannot reform a system whose survival depends on your exploitation. You cannot vote away the interests of institutions that own the political class. You cannot negotiate with an economy built on monetized servitude. You cannot protest your way out of tyranny; this path only guarantees more the same system but with new faces. A trend yet to be reversed. The only rational choice is to opt out.

A society that needs half a century of debt to house its people is not progressing. It is cannibalizing the next generation to keep a broken system alive.
