If you want to use AI to help flesh out ideas, please actually flesh them out before thending eet. Don't just 1 line prompt send to production, take time to map out your idea. Iterate, improve, iterate, repeat. I can't believe how low the bar is for development now (ironically as AI increasingly gets more powerful and intelligent). Please quit sending me "Discord & Telegram Clones". By all means explore development, experiment, and make your own clients... especially messengers, but fuck man pump the brakes (no, rip the e-brake) on trying to pawn these off as "clones". After almost a decade of use on these apps, as much as I really don't want to admit, they have truly pioneered a lot of online/digital modern communications. Though the people and companies behind them are everything what is wrong with world, the actual UX has had so much thought and AB testing, as well as live production testing for years... many mistakes made and lessons learned. Actually doing deeper research you can see how much thought was put into meticulous details, though definitely not perfect from my own personal bias as well as different schools of thought for design logic, but then again... what app is perfect? especially a messenger? Now, everyone is just wanting to put the most minimal effort into their "creations" and if you have the audience or the reputation, people will just come on board. Nothing new under the sun. Brings me back to the McDonalds Kiosk AI meme... yeah I made that order. Disillusioned, truly. GM, dystopia. Happy Saturday, frens.
