Maybe this is common knowledge here… I know nostr stands for Notes and Other Stuff Transmitted by Relays. But first time I heard “nostr” I thought of the Our Father prayer. Pater Noster is the old Latin name for the Our Father prayer. So nostr means “our” or “ours”. What a great name for a powerful and decentralized communication network that gives power back to us, that’s “ours”.

I’ve yet to Orange Pill anyone. I’m only 3 months down the rabbit hole. But I’m planting seeds. A few friends still curious and open. Last week hung out with my wifes uncle who is a wonderful priest near retirement. I talked bitcoin. He ended up going home and buying Bitcoin Standard,Fiat Standard and Softwar. He’s a brilliant man so I’m optimistic he’ll be seeing orange.

It doesn’t matter if you’re ideologically on the left or right. You will share something in common and that’s bitcoin.”

As a Christian I was looking around the btc and nostr landscape wondering how many others there were. There are a decent amount. I was thinking…bitcoiners are drawn from all walks of life and all political stripes. That’s a good sign! It’s hard to stop this or label this when we are from such diverse backgrounds. We are open minded people from a variety of backgrounds!
