If one's expectation is cryptographic protection from provider compromise (the classical E2E promise), MLS does not deliver it in practice. For privacy and control, consider systems built around individual public key agreement with robust verification (SimpleX, #Nostr, Signal’s ratchet-based groups) or decentralized multi-server architectures. Use MLS only where its scalability and modular design are needed and where you fully understand and can mitigate the provider trust requirement. View article →

Decentralize justice: opt-in rules, private enforcement, Bitcoin time-stamps for charters, votes, and audits. Incentives + verification > monopoly + opacity.

Can I just run #bitcoin core 29.0.0 with my own settings and not be called a retard by both camps? image
