Okay. Clearly I was nervous for nothing about posting on here. I’m a complete tech noob in a sea of developers but they are all so helpful, feels like a safe space to be okay with not knowing & asking questions. 🥰
Todays experimental dinner, creamy pork pasta. I wish button mushrooms were more affordable here, or that I was a halfway decent forager. Not ready to risk lives by bringing in poisonous shrooms 🥲😅

I like the interface on plebstr and the fact that I can post gifs and see images easily, but I hop over to Damus sometimes because I can’t seem to get my @ ‘s to work on plebstr. I’d love to stick to one 🙃
I need to release my phone for 15mins so @manlikekweks can hook back up my ability to directly zap posts. I’m tired of just 🤙or having to go to profiles :(
I’ve even tried remembering the “destination time”, eg, it’s 17:54, I need to take the pasta off at (quickly adds 8mins on my fingers) 18:03. But no luck. I 👏🏾 Will 👏🏾 forget.
Anyone else set a bazillion alarms when cooking bc they never remind elapsed time? I put the pasta on, look at my watch, say alright it’s 17:54, take it off in 8mins, then next time I look at my watch I have NO CLUE what time I initially looked at it.
Speaking g of cooking, yesterday I added a splash of buttermilk to an old banana bread recipe. Boy. Game changer.
In todays toddler tales, Sky tried to say “ladybug” and said “loopy butt” 😂. Day made.
The first time @manlikekweks tried teaching me about sats and wallets, I thought I’d never understand, turned out to be ridiculously easy. I’m now sat with him to watch Guardians of the Galaxy 3 and I can say with all confidence I will NEVER fully comprehend Marvel timelines. I just watch, pretend I know what’s happening and enjoy the journey🥲
What a beautiful day. (Home)school is back in session! We started on botany today. Honestly cannot wait to learn with the kids! Project one: build a mini herb greenhouse then project two: use the herbs to make soap.
