I kinda knew tf is great for bringing up cloud resources and servers, but for some reason it didn't click that you could use it to manage bringing up things like specific entities inside of a running service (by using something like service's graphql or grpc endpoint) 🤯 Think something like defining your application's minimum required start state as a resource!

Interesting shift, I've stopped explaining bitcoin as ngu to new folks, and stopped encouraging them to just "buy bitcoin" I used to do this from as early as 2015 & got a number of folks in from this perspective. They never appreciated the other aspects though, & almost all sold at some later point for a handsome profit, but for no appreciation of what bitcoin actually was It was just another investment for them I'm not sure why, but those didn't feel like wins at all to me. And now, even when I have someone who trusts me and will happily "buy bitcoin" if I advise them to, I choose not to nudge anymore unless they figure out the underlying "why" instead, and it's not just an investment to them It's strange, because I know almost certainly that they'll "profit". But treating bitcoin as just another investment you pass into and out of, and not understanding any of the other elements seems like such a waste/disappointment to me I'm just not interested in propagating that If anything, I think "study bitcoin" is where it's at now. And that's where I'll happily bring new folks in via these days ✌🏽
