You are on your own. Politicians won't save you. This might sound frightening at first, but it is liberating once you embrace it. Take the infamous "Great Stink" of London. Driven by industrialization, London's population rose rapidly. The rapid industrialization and population growth of the city had led to a dire need for sanitation reform. Londoners, lacking proper sanitation, had for years been disposing of waste directly into the River Thames, which also served as their water source. The situation deteriorated until an exceptionally hot summer in 1858 made the stench intolerable, even reaching the Houses of Parliament. Only then did politicians care enough to do something about it, and they started to build the Victorian sewerage system, which is still in use today. Don't wait for politicians to save you; don't wait for the issues to become so big they can't ignore them anymore. Bitcoin is a beautiful example of a bottom-up movement. Bitcoin's decentralized nature and grassroots movement have given power back to you, allowing you to control your own financial future, escaping inflation and governments debasing their currencies. By embracing a bottom-up approach and taking responsibility for yourself and your community, you can create positive change and shape the world around you. Encourage curiosity and experimentation, driving humanity toward new breakthroughs. In today's world, everybody can do it.
