Boujee's introduction to the lure. The lure is basically a piece of leather cut to look similar to a bird which you tie meat on to for the bird to eat. This acts as insurance when the bird isn't recalling. The bird learns that when they see the lure being swung around by the falconer that it always has a large meal on it. This makes it a bigger reward than just coming to the fist for a small tidbit of food. #falconry #hawkstr #hunting

Progressing along to recall outside on the creance with Boujee. A "creance" is basically a long line attached to the jesses. During this session we had another juvenile redtail land in the tree above my son who was filming and watch us which was quite strange. Boujee was unbothered by it and the dog sitting nearby. Yesterday I was shaking for 905 sats, today is like I went back in time and only got 313. I know I shouldn't complain about free #bitcoin but I've been laser focused on getting to 365 days and this completely takes the wind out of my sails lol
