My best bull market advice: don't upgrade your lifestyle too much You might afford the Lambo/Ferrari/Porsche now, but think about insurance, taxes & maintenance costs – don't go for liabilities that provide short-term gratification. A Mazda MX-5 or Toyota Supra is just as fun, at only a fraction of the cost. Want to move into a bigger house? Consider the increased costs too — including heating during winter and property taxes. You wouldn't want to pay your entire bear market wage on something that is unnecessarily big for what you really need. Eating better food and staying healthy are much better investments on the long run. Also, drastic changes in your lifestyle will inevitably change your social life. Some friends will no longer relate to the new you and leave, while others will come along trying to take advantage. Family members will also have greater expectations. Staying humble isn't just a meme, it's wise advice on staying happy. Also, research the stories of people who won the lottery. Very few of them ended up living wholesome and fulfilling lives.

I also don’t understand the “retire my entire bloodline” concept You want to surround yourself with parasites who do nothing with their lives, never produce anything of value, and depend on you for money? Seriously, good luck maintaining your sanity in this situation!

I honestly don’t understand the whole “if bitcoin hits x price, I will be able to retire” argument You think money will fix your existential problems? You think sitting by the pool all day will make you feel better about yourself? Good luck lol, hope you get there!

While I respect the attempt of @Super Testnet to present the Lightning network as financial privacy tech I hate it when it provides reassurance to people who have no idea what they’re doing. Tor + opening private channels won’t help your invoices hide information about your node.
