# ENERGY So **MIT** has apparently achieved orbital solar energy that could benefit everyone on earth with a free energy source That's what they claimed anyway, but you and I know that's not how things work. It will be centrally distributed which means it will be a natural monopoly. The infrastructure will cost money for which you will be taxed. Pricing will be set most likely by the State, IE fascism. Whoever controls that source will eventually rule the world. >Who run Bartertown? Who.. run.. Bartertown? > > -Master Blaster So what do we do? Is there anyone working on decentralized power distribution? That is the solution a people need to be free.

I am reminded how fine artists responded to photography. Specifically, how they moved from highly realistic imagery towards impressionism. I wonder how artists will respond to AI and will there be creative corners left for human exploration and a similar historical shift.

# BOOST Don't forget to boost the important notes that you read. A boost is more important than ❤️ for sure and more valuable than a ⚡ is ever likely to be. ## Why boost? 1. The note is moved to the top of the stack and more people just checking in to Nostr might get to see it. 1. The note is potentially migrated to new relays for even more eyeballs to see. 1. It stresses the importance of an idea to read it again and again. This power can be used for good when we share truth, wisdom, and even just simple good news. 1. It creates more opportunities for ❤️s, ⚡s, and boost providing positive feedback to creators. Which in turn creates a virtuous loop for the best content. ## Quote Boost Endorse your boosts, Especially for long posts that people are likely to skim over. Point out that it's important to read and why. Perhaps the original note buried the lead. Use your quote to give it prominence. # A boost might be the most important action you take on Nostr today. #grownostr #boost

This looks like a great deal, but it's a lie. The headset is on sale, but for only $79. Not a bad price but a far cry from the sweet deal you were promised. I wonder though, how many times does Eric Song picks up a little extra change from his deception. I'm in the market and it's still not a bad price. If I just click through. Mr. Song is rewarded for his deception. I couldn't even leave a comment on the page. Shame on IGN for sponsoring such a scammer.

Every business wants to have a bigger slice of the pie. Greedy businesses don't mind sacrificing the rest of how to get it. Great businesses help them by grow for everybody.

I listen to Jack Maller on his new podcast Money Matters. He interviewed some other guy also named Jack. Anywho he spoke about SimpleX for decentralized messaging. I'm trying it out. Unfortunately, most of these projects fail for lack of participants. Still, I think it's worth trying. What do you think of SimpleX? Will you try it? If not, Why not? .... And yes I know who Jack is.

Fossil fuels are not made from dinosaurs. Rather they are made by oceans. Peak oil is propaganda to control you.

# I MISS SPIDERS I'm not talking about the eight legged freaks. I'm talking about pre-search engine stuff. I think it was a program on your computer. You would enter a search phrase and an URL. Back then the internet was linked by shared links on every webpage. This program would process through the links, and the links they linked to, looking for that data set and produce a lot of relative content. Some, not So relevant... Then we got Google and the era of centralized, controlled, and moderated searches began. Ah, the good old days.
