On Rant #It'sOn Lately I have been seeing a few references to Black Swans. It is irking me. Why? Well, because Black Swan are by definition unforeseen events. As Rumsfeld famously alliterated his known knowns, and known unknowns, Black Swan are the unknown unknowns. Put another way, they are acts of Gods. Can't be conceived of ahead of time.
