📍Jabal Umm ad Dami (Jordans highest peak) Someone in the tour group was a Bitcoiner so we hit it off. At the end of the hike his 6 year old daughter asks "why do you two only talk about Bitcoin!?" 😂

When I lost my job earlier this year, I knew it was a sign to get into Bitcoin full-time. Not knowing how to start I challenged myself to be the catalyst of 1 Bitcoin interaction a day for 100 days. I called this my '100 Day Bitcoin Challenge' Here is my Proof of Work....

You know shit is bad when your mum sends you a video about the downfall of Canada in your native language. Video discusses: -Healthcare waitimes -Reliance on USA -Barriers for businesses -Real estate fiasco -Inflation for basic needs... -Infrastructure does not match growing in population -Minimal investment in R&D to foster innovation in Canada

📍Lugano Many pointed, only one interacted and said "didn't Lugano adopt #Bitcoin payments?" He was jogging so we couldn't chat further.

📍Geneva (held board for 15 minutes) Many silently nudged their friend towards my sign but no one said anything except for a group of guys who called it a scam. They were on bicycles so I couldn't retort.

100 Day #Bitcoin Challenge (Day 96) +2 - sent a business owner (salon) their first sats and paid for my haircut with sats (convinced their senior barber to accept it). Go check out Goldwyn and Sons in Etobicoke and get a great cut with sats! Total #Bitcoin Interactions: 94

100 Day #Bitcoin Challenge (Day 91) +4 - traditionally in my culture we gift gold when a baby is born into the family. I decided to give them #Bitcoin instead and instructed their parents to give it only when they turn 18! I hope the kids appreciate it. I used an Opendime and put it in a treasure box to make it look more exciting 🥳 Total #Bitcoin Interactions: 88

I'm so done with real estate! My wife and I sold our home and we're still being charged property tax. I've been advised to contact the city to figure out what is going on 🤬

100 Day #Bitcoin Challenge (Day 89) +3 - Sent a friend #Bitcoin three different way: ⚡️custodial (@walletofsatoshi), ⚡️ non-custodial (@PhoenixWallet ), #Bitcoin on-chain (@bluewalletio) She learned a ton about #Bitcoin transactions! Total #Bitcoin Interactions: 83 ⚡️custodial: good option for someone to experience #Bitcoin for the first time since it has minimal friction BUT not the safest since the user does not own the private keys ⚡️ non-custodial: user owns the private keys so a more secure way to interact with the lightning network #Bitcoin on-chain: the OG way to interact with #Bitcoin before the lightning network existed. The transaction is recorded on the 'ledger.' An excellent way to explain the blockchain by using the txID on @mempool (seeing visual blocks really makes a difference)

Anyone travelled with a hardware wallet while extensively traveling? I'm concerned about raising suspicion customs/borders.

100 Day #Bitcoin Challenge (Day 88) +1 - tipped a server in Bitcoin who was initially hesitant but agreed to do it since I'd tipped his other colleagues in #bitcoin already. Total #Bitcoin Interactions: 80 This is the 8th server I've tipped in #Bitcoin. Next time when you're out, ask your server if they've ever been tipped in #Bitcoin. It's likely they haven't so be the first to get them on the orange train!

100 Day #Bitcoin Challenge (Day 81-87) +1 - paid my barber in #Bitcoin for the 4th time Me: how many others have paid in sats Him: only one other Me: why not give a discount, maybe 5% Him: not a bad idea...go update my pricing board Me: 🥳 After I added the '5% discount', he liked my writing so much that he had me re-write his whole pricing board 🤣 Next time you get a cut, talk to your barber, ask if they'll accept #Bitcoin, help them understand. You won't know unless you try. Total #Bitcoin Interactions: 79

100 Day #Bitcoin Challenge (Day 81) +1 - sent a close friend sats on chain, had him pull up the transaction on the mempool and explained its significance. Needless to say, he was impressed. Visually seeing the blocks definitely helped. Total #Bitcoin Interactions: 78

100 Day #Bitcoin Challenge (Day 79-80) +3 - sent a buddy sats off and on-chain to explain the differences between the two (#Bitcoin on and off ⚡️). Had him use the sats at @bitrefill so he knew it could be spent easily. Total #Bitcoin Interactions: 77
