A tip for Pixel Devices that give an error message if you don't use the QR and try the copy paste method: Google Lens the QR CODE. It gives you all the info (string of letters and numbers). Copy that string. Instead of scanning the QR code, click "need help?" And the "enter manually" Paste that string of letters/numbers you copied. It should work. Always a good backup option even when you plan to buy a sim after landing, gives you instant internet access as soon as you land. Kudos, bitrefill is actually where I get to use bitcoin to buy services I really need.
