New story on the state of French democracy! This morning, the French ministry of home affairs inadvertently blocked all Telegram links (on t.me domain), as part of a fight against child pornography. It was probably a mistake, but this comes a few days after the publication of a ministerial report stating that a likewise solution (based on ISPs' DNS lying to users, giving them the IP of a page from the Ministry rather than the real IP of the requested domain) would be used against online scams. Icing on the cake: anyone who tried to visit a t.me link this morning had their IP actrively logged by the the French authority and tagged as "pedo-criminal". Hurray!

Am I the only one who cringes to the idea of companies incentivizing every little action from their employees with sats?
