#Logseq's way of handling page aliases bothers me to no end. #Obsidian points to a page using the standard #wikilink way: [[ Real Link | Label ]], with | as a separator. Instead, Logseq just uses the label as the whole link. So, [[ Label ]] points to the page 'Real Link' which has the property alias:: Label. This requires the usage of Logseq's internal database in order to follow labelled wikilinks, and breaks compatibility with other tools (as well as human readability and futureproofing)! Why?! I keep trying to use Logseq as it is FOSS and it has some very cool features, but Logseq keeps pushing me away! #notetaking #zettelkasten #secondbrain

Having an interest in #politics and #philosophy is pretty depressing in the #modern #world (possibly as well in any other era). Our societies are dominated by the Mass, by King #Demos. The biggest threat I see to our #rights and #liberty is not, in my opinion, a cabal of shadowy elites, but #Tocqueville's soft #despotism. King Demos is fickle, led by his basest instincts and passions. It is horny, gluttonous, craven and lazy. And he is leading us to a castrated future, where we are sedated and chained to a wall. Our liberty, erased for our own good.

Hot takes. I think #crypto is useful, but by itself cannot solve all of the worlds problems (Not even #Bitcoin). #Bitcoin evangelization and zealotry does more to hamper adoption than to encourage it, driving people away. It might not be possible to dethrone #fiat. Crypto will have to find its place as the foundation of the 'free lane' of society.
