Nodes must have the autonomy to do what they choose.
THAT, determines the Bitcoin network.

Forgive me as I am not a programmer, so my technical understanding is limited, but - why can an offline sender not create a custom proof to send to the receivers public key?
- Is it just a technical limitation that requires interaction with the mint by the sender?
- Is this something that can be done in the future, or is it not achievable?
I'm promoting ecash to more and more people, and like you said, offline transactions is a key value proposition, so I really want to understand it better.
Thanks again!

I like that I have a choice to accept or decline a failed zap... π
Hey #asknostr, need some help please with #zapping and #nwc
I use my laptop for browsing on primal. For zapping, I have connected a coinOS wallet to my account though nwc, which is running in another tab on the same browser.
But, I often find that when I click ZAP, it just doesn't work. after many refreshes sometimes it works, but other times it still wont. I've tried many combinations of different wallets and even clients, but all seem to suffer the same problem.
I am but a humble small zapper, and want to give value when I get value... so I am asking for advice on what the simplest most reliable way to set up
a lightning wallet on my laptop, so I can always zap others posts. Is it Alby? Or maybe others?
Many thanks in advance π₯
