Hey #asknostr, need some help please with #zapping and #nwc I use my laptop for browsing on primal. For zapping, I have connected a coinOS wallet to my account though nwc, which is running in another tab on the same browser. But, I often find that when I click ZAP, it just doesn't work. after many refreshes sometimes it works, but other times it still wont. I've tried many combinations of different wallets and even clients, but all seem to suffer the same problem. I am but a humble small zapper, and want to give value when I get value... so I am asking for advice on what the simplest most reliable way to set up a lightning wallet on my laptop, so I can always zap others posts. Is it Alby? Or maybe others? Many thanks in advance 🥂

I've been thinking of something like this for a while too... how to make Bitcoin a thing of the 'real' world in a way. Something I'd like to ask ( maybe I missed this point while reading) is, once a physical object has been embowed with some amount of bitcoin through this minting process, it cannot go back to the digital form right? The sats have gone to a burner address during the process, so its a one way street. It cannot be restored back onto chain essentially.

Hey #asknostr , I don't want to support the Bazos empire through Audible anymore. Has anyone got any good alternatives to recommend for e-books and audio books for: - where to buy them from - how to manage them (on PC, phone etc.) I've only just started researching, but any pointers would be much appreciated, thanks!

I've been exploring a lot of different nostr clients lately, and while they all have different strengths, #primal is still just the nicest all round. However, its not been as easy to use primal as I though it would be. I'm trying to avoid signing in with my nsec directly now days, but Primal only seems to allow logging in with nsec currently on a web page. I've been enjoying the #Nsec.app for most other clients, as supposed to keep my nsec more secure. The closest I can get to this, is to use primal.nostrapps.org which allows me to use my Nsec.app, but its on version 0.102.20, where as the latest online is 2.1.3... In any case, its still fantastic all the tech that is used just to make that happen. I can hardly comprehend it all. But I do hope that Primal will offer more ways to sign in in the near future.

After falling into the rabbit hole, I now have the problem where I don’t want to use anything that isn’t #FOSS or has a small group of people in charge of it. I say “problem” but… it’s really a good thing. Just means there is a lot more thinking to be done. Can’t just sign up to use something without considering it anymore.
