After falling into the rabbit hole, I now have the problem where I don’t want to use anything that isn’t #FOSS or has a small group of people in charge of it. I say “problem” but… it’s really a good thing. Just means there is a lot more thinking to be done. Can’t just sign up to use something without considering it anymore.

Black Friday feels so… wrong. It’s almost nauseating, all the advertising. I hope that one day, it won’t be a normal thing anymore, or rather, it becomes the opposite. A day, where everyone buys nothing. A day where we remember, that what we have is enough. One day, perhaps.

Trust is essential in life, there is no getting around it. The only thing that we can choose, is who and what to trust. The #Bitcoin network gives us the choice to trust thousands of smart, forward thinking people around the world (developers, miners, node runners, and normal users) with our money, our wealth, our time and energy, instead of a handful full of bankers and politicians. To me, that is far better than any central bank or government can ever offer.
