Spoke language ➕ 2. Written language ➕ 3. The printing press ➕ 4. The internet ➕ The transfer of value has had: 1. Barter ➕ 2. Monetary tokens (salt, glass beads, shells, gold) ➕ 3. Fiat ➖ 4. Bitcoin ➕ Value transfer therefore never had its ‘Printing press moment’. Fiat money was a backwards step and human society has progressed despite fiat money not because of it. I believe humanity is now like a coiled spring.
