⚡️🇮🇱 NEW - Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich:
Unfortunately, the Palestinian state — this existential threat — is present. It is here, it is alive and kicking.
Because there is international pressure. Look at Britain and France recognizing it unilaterally — and we do not know what will happen in the U.S. after the current administration.

⚡️👀 ARCHIVE - Twitter asked users for phone numbers and email addresses to secure their accounts, including for two-factor authentication, then used that data to target ads.
It did so by matching the data against advertisers' marketing lists.
More than 140 million users were affected from 2014 to 2019, the FTC says. Twitter called it an error and paid $150 million in 2022.

⚡️🎮 WTF - GAMING: A Reddit user says a second-hand Ryzen 7 5800X3D locked him out of Valorant because a previous owner had cheated with it.
He bought the CPU and was immediately kicked by Vanguard when launching the game.
After contacting Riot, he was told that the CPU’s ID/serial number had already been blacklisted on August 12 because its previous owner had cheated in Valorant.
He also claims the hardware ban then affected other parts of his PC, including the motherboard and storage drives.
Riot told him there was nothing they could do to remove the hardware ban.

Apple paid them $15,000.

⚡️🤖 NEW - Researchers have discovered that ChatGPT can be “manipulated” using persuasion techniques that are more than 40 years old.
An initial study led by researchers from Wharton and Robert Cialdini himself tested 28,000 conversations with GPT-4o mini, applying the seven principles of persuasion popularized in his 1984 book *Influence*.
When faced with requests that the model was supposed to refuse, these techniques increased its average compliance rate from 33.3% to 72%.
The most striking technique was “commitment”: getting the model to agree to a relatively innocuous initial request before gradually moving on to the problematic request.
In some tests, compliance reached 100%.
Simply changing the way a request was phrased was enough to significantly alter the model’s behavior.
In May 2026, the researchers published a much larger study in PNAS, featuring 126,000 conversations with GPT-5 mini, Claude Haiku 4.5, and Gemini 3 Flash.
Recent models are more resistant, but the effect still exists: when faced with the tested prompts, persuasion increased compliance from 35.3% to 51.3%.

⚡️🇫🇷 NEW - French President Macron:
The first answer is to re-humanize social networks. We have to take back control.
We have to take back control of social networks and of the artificial intelligence that is arriving. This is a European battle.
What I call re-humanizing means taking back control, putting everything back at the right pace and making democracy work again.

⚡️🇫🇷 NEW - French President Macron:
Europe has become desynchronized. It is too slow compared with China and the United States.
Europe’s battle for the coming years is to innovate much faster and much more strongly.
Over the last 20 years, in GDP per capita, we have fallen behind the United States, and more than two-thirds of the explanation is that we innovate less.
Artificial intelligence and robotics can be an opportunity because they can give our societies new room for maneuver.
⚡️🇫🇷 NEW - French President Macron:
When we educate children, we do not send them freely into a supermarket, a sex shop and a gun store. With social networks, that is basically what we did.
We said: great, let them have free access to the supermarket, the sex shop, weapons sales and everything else we normally regulate.
⚡️🗣 WATCH - The kid behind one of the most viral rug pulls of 2024 is making headlines again… and his advice on how to make $10,000 a month is pretty telling.
In November 2024, while he was still in middle school, he launched the Gen Z Quant memecoin on PumpFun.
Eight minutes later, he sold his 51 million tokens and pocketed nearly $30,000, causing the price to plummet.
The scene was streamed live and went viral. Ironically, the community then snapped up the token and sent its value skyrocketing: the tokens he had just sold would have been worth several million dollars at their peak.
Almost two years later, he appears in this interview with a simple question:
“If you were starting from scratch and had to make $10,000 a month, what would you do?”
His answer is that he would start by reselling—buying items to resell them at a higher price—and then use that initial capital to move into trading.
“That’s the best way to go from zero to something,” he says.
⚡️👀 NEW - PewDiePie says OpenAI banned him twice while he was working on his own AI model.
He claims the first ban was related to “distillation,” while the second happened after he used AI to generate training data.
He has now shown off Ajax, a smaller AI model designed to run directly on a normal home PC. It’s based on Qwen3.5-9B and is built to work with his own self-hosted AI setup
He also used the open-source Heretic tool to remove many of its built-in refusals, while keeping some safety limits.

⚡️🚨 NEW - An AI-cloned voice was all it took to trigger the transfer of 95 million euros from the accounts of a major Italian bank.
In February, Paolo Molesini, then president of Fideuram, a private banking subsidiary of Intesa Sanpaolo, first received a fake WhatsApp message that appeared to come from the group’s CEO, Carlo Messina.
This was followed by a call featuring an AI-generated voice imitating a lawyer Molesini knew.
Convinced the transaction was legitimate, Molesini then instructed his teams to make several transfers, mainly to China and Hong Kong, totaling approximately 95 million euros.
Thanks to the response from banks and authorities, a large portion of the funds was recovered, including approximately €40 million via a Chinese bank and an additional €13 million intercepted in Portugal.
However, approximately €36 million is believed to have been converted into cryptocurrencies and remains untraceable.
Most concerning is that the attack did not require directly hacking the bank. The scammers used social engineering by combining WhatsApp, identity theft, and AI-powered voice cloning.

From time to time Trump tells me: "Mr. President, I’m imposing tariffs on the world because I have the best army in the world, I have the best navy in the world, I have the best rockets in the world."
And I tell him: "Trump, I don’t want war with you. I don’t want war with you. I want to defeat you in the narrative. I want to defeat you."
That’s why I’ve already written, I think, three articles for The New York Times. I want to talk to the American people about him. And that’s why he treats me with respect.
And it’s good that he treats me with respect, because I treat everybody with respect. That’s all I want: respect.
⚡️💬 NEW - Sam Altman answered Elon’s “money won’t matter in 2036” statement
Sam Altman:
“Clearly I think money will still matter in 10 years.”
“One of the greatest concerns I have with AI is the concentration of power and concentration of wealth.”
“There are all of these ways where I think it will make a lot of things much cheaper and better, and you don’t have to buy a car, and that’ll be great.”
“But yeah, I think that there are many reasons to think that it won’t just magically solve wealth inequality.”
