⚡️🇫🇷 NEW - French President Macron:
China is massacring our industrial base — partly through innovation after Covid, but also by subsidizing its companies eight times the OECD average.
That is not acceptable. We are not respecting the rules of the game, and we are not protecting our companies.
We Europeans have been naive. We said: "We are open to everyone because we want to trade with others."
But in reality, we are doing much less trade with others.
⚡️‼️ I get the impression that they want to turn AI into a new deity with the new term “superintelligence,” so I’d like to reiterate here that there is only one God, who has neither beginning nor end.
⚡️💬 NEW - Elon Musk on SI: "When you have robots and you have superintelligence, that means that everyone in the world can have better medical care than anyone here, including me. And wouldn't that be wonderful?"
⚡️🇺🇸 NEW - Mike Johnson on what Republicans will do if they hold the House: "What we would do in the next two years is exactly what we have been doing already"
⚡️💬 NEW - Huang: We used to call them data centers but the things that we're building now, these are really SI factories, super intelligence factories
⚡️🤖 EOD - OpenAI has just introduced Dot, a customizable AI agent that no longer just responds in ChatGPT… it can continue working on its own even when you’re not there.
Each Dot has its own computer in the cloud and can be given a task and then continue working on it in the background.
It can connect to thousands of apps, communicate via ChatGPT or Slack, and soon via text message.
For example, OpenAI demonstrates a Dot capable of identifying a bug reported in Slack, working on the problem, and then returning with the result without a human needing to walk it through each step.
⚡️🎮 GAMING - Path of Exile designer Chris Wilson says he “desperately” wants Diablo 5 to be good.
He says Diablo 2 had a huge influence on him and eventually inspired him to create Path of Exile, while he lost interest in Diablo 3 and Diablo 4, the first look at Diablo 5 gave him some hope.
If Diablo 5 succeeds, he believes it could bring millions of new players into the action RPG genre, who might then discover games like Path of Exile.
“A rising tide lifts all ships.”

⚡️🤡🇺🇸 NEW - Trump on AI:
We’re going to be signing a document today renaming artificial intelligence to superintelligence officially.
⚡️🇮🇱 NEW - A Jewish man was filmed trying to urinate on the wall of St. James Monastery in Jerusalem’s Old City before a security guard stopped him.
The monastery has repeatedly been targeted by Jewish extremists who spit toward it, part of wider harassment of Christian clergy and churches in the Old City.

⚡️🚨 WATCH - Netanyahu gloats about how Israel can paint anybody as an enemy by hacking into their cellphones
⚡️🤖🇰🇷 NEW - South Korea just built a welding robot that doesn’t need scaffolding.
This is the Diden Spider, a four-legged machine with magnetic feet that can walk across steel floors, climb vertical walls, and stick to ceilings.
It carries up to 30 kg, squeezes through tight shipyard spaces, and welds where people used to need ladders, harnesses, and a lot of risk.
Shipyards in Korea are already putting it to work.
One more tough, dangerous job that machines are starting to take over.
⚡️😳 WTF - A computer scientist found an old contract with Nvidia in a closet and discovered that he had never been paid the company shares he was owed.
Today, that block of shares would be worth about $1 billion...
The man went to court with the documents, hoping to recover what was rightfully his, but... he discovered that the statute of limitations for this case had already expired.

⚡️😂 NEW - Thieves thought they were getting their hands on a shipment of super-expensive NVIDIA equipment... They opened the trailers... and found 18 METRIC TONS OF SAND.
Two trailers bearing the PlusAI and NVIDIA logos were stolen from outside a PlusAI facility in Fremont, California.
The thieves forced open the locks and drove off with their own tractor-trailers.
But the trailers weren’t carrying any GPUs. PlusAI had filled them with about 9 metric tons of sand each—nearly 18 metric tons in total—to simulate a real cargo load during testing of its autonomous driving technologies.
The trailers were eventually found abandoned nearby, still filled with sand.

⚡️🇺🇸🇨🇳 NEW - Trump on AI:
We're about a year, maybe a year and a half up on China. There is nobody in third place.
I spoke a little bit about it with Xi, not too much. I think if you, as they say, open it up, you sort of give up the lead.
