⚡️🇫🇷 NEW - In Paris, a medical center has caused a scandal by offering a “skip-the-line” service—an appointment with a general practitioner, pediatrician, or gynecologist within 24 hours. But patients must pay an additional fee of 30 euros, which is not reimbursed by Social Security, on top of the consultation fee. So here we have a two-tiered healthcare system based on your purchasing power—and the worst part is that it’s going to work, given the state of disrepair of the healthcare system in certain regions!

⚡️🇬🇧 NEW - A woman in the UK has won a lawsuit against her former employer after being told she had to turn her camera on during work meetings. Laura Tait, who has an anxiety disorder, asked to keep her camera off as a workplace adjustment. Her employer refused, saying everyone had to keep their cameras on. ⚡️🚨🇫🇷 NEW - Age verification on social media: “Users will have to watch a 5-second ad” to fund the verification process A meeting of the Online Age Verification Forum (FOVA) brought together about 50 stakeholders, including platforms and solution providers, to lay the technical groundwork for age verification. Starting in September, the new accounts are expected to be subject to verification, before the requirement is rolled out to all users by January. Each verification could cost platforms about 1 centime. Another model being considered: “Users will have to watch a 5-second ad.” The government is also reportedly promoting France Identité as one of the verification solutions. image

⚡️🎙️ NEW - Tucker dropped one of his most explosive theories yet: The real battlefield in today’s oil market is actually artificial intelligence. As algorithms now dominate oil futures trading, governments no longer need to influence human traders, as they can simply flood the information space with reassuring statements, and the AI systems interpret those headlines as signals to keep prices low. Control the narrative → control the machines → control the price. There’s no direct proof the Trump administration is doing this on purpose, but the bigger question is impossible to ignore: If machines are making the trades… Who's really moving the market? The traders? Or the people shaping the information those machines consume?

⚡️🇺🇸 NEW - The IRS is threatening to seize a Tennessee man's farm after charging him interest on a $20,000 refund it accidentally sent him, which he immediately tried to return. Wilson Perry Kirby, 76, says he was accidentally sent $20,000 by the IRS in 2022. Kirby immediately tried returning the money and even hired an accountant to fix the issue. Instead, the IRS is now charging him interest on the money he tried returning and is withholding his 2025 tax refund. "I've tried the president, governor, mayor. They don't mind asking you to vote for them, but when you need help you can't get ahold of nobody," Kirby said. Despite trying to fix the problem, the IRS is still sending letters, demanding he pay interest on the money they accidentally sent him that he tried to return. He never spent it. The IRS is now threatening to seize his farm if he doesn't pay the up to $4300 (and growing) interest. Infuriating.

⚡️🇫🇷🤐 ALERT - The new bill on “combating interference” has just been introduced by Minister Laurent Nuñez. And just as with identity verification on social media, the government has pulled out the fast-track procedure to ram it through at breakneck speed. What this bill aims to establish is a veritable arsenal of controls over online speech: 1/ An emergency judicial procedure allowing a court to silence what the government deems to be a “disinformation” campaign on social media. 2/ The expansion of the “anti-information manipulation” framework already in place since 2018—a net that keeps getting wider. 3/ Harsher penalties, which would increase from 1 to 3 years in prison for “information manipulation,” and up to 6 years in cases of alleged ties to a foreign state. Imprisoning people for what they post: that’s where we stand. And that’s where the mask slips. The bill proudly presents itself as a defense against “foreign interference”… but the Council of State itself, in its opinion, notes that its scope is by no means limited to interference from abroad. In other words: we’re being sold protection against an external enemy, when in fact the tool itself can easily be turned inward—against citizens, opponents, and dissenting voices!

⚡️🎙️ NEW - The Economist: You have close to 250 million followers on X. You say things like "civil war in Britain is inevitable. Just a question of when" Elon Musk: On the current trend, yes. The Economist: When were you last in the UK? Musk: A few years ago The Economist: Exactly. I live there. That is nonsense. The numbers also disprove what you say. London is a much safer city than any city in the US. You have painted Europe and the UK as overrun with terrifying Muslim immigrants, there's rape on every corner, there's civilizational destruction. Musk: I didn't say any of those things.

⚡️💬 NEW - Q: People say that you're a racist. Elon Musk: My partner is half Indian, and I have four children with her. One of them was named after a famous Indian physicist. So I would say I'm not racist. And also, if you look at the people that are employed at my companies, we have senior executives of all races. I don't think there's any racism there.
