A low-fi audiozine that puts the punk back in cypherpunk.
The next issue of bitpunk.fm is being made without a computer. I'm recording articles direct to tape, that I previously typed out (with a typewriter). The music I will copy over from CD however. It definitely sounds more lofi. Can't wait to hear what y'all think about it. I'm doing this because it is still #analogaugust image
We have this problem in ham radio too. Sometimes people have their audio gain set so low. It's so easy! Just go into the menu, find the AF gain setting, and adjust it. One day, nostr will be as popular as ham radio and I'm here for it! View quoted note β†’
I think the website is good to show the catalog. But I'm not sure it's clear to return the value. Maybe the music site should also link to the funding tag? The PayPal link is on the homepage but when you listen to a song, and I want to buy now!!, how do I close that loop? View quoted note β†’
I once tried to post on nostr, it's outlawed you know in the town of Gloucester. There are no ads just bitcoin for Chads, Is there anyone else here on the roster?
I'm going live here in about 30 minutes for my poetry show. It's the only live poetry show consistently done, in a #v4v way in the world We will start off with WW1 poetry and then read 5 poems written just this week All of you are invited. I didn't like poetry a year ago. I get it. But it changed my life more than Bitcoin did.
Maybe the ultimate poet-musician collaboration? Burroughs and Cobain. Some of the best digital experiences I've had was being part of the Satellite Spotlights with the #v4v gang here in this kind of vibe. It was a very nice collaboration of visual artists, musicians, podcasters, poets and technologists. I have yet to see any digital experience match it. And you can even watch the old ones!
