I made an audio cut-up tool. It makes DaDa like audio cut-ups that William Burroughs and Brion Gysin did in the 60s, except you don't have the cut the tape.
It's already useful for me to experiment with sound. Hopefully you find it useful as well. It works completely in the browser, though it might not be mobile friendly idk.

If your cassette deck is screaming at you or making an odd sound, really scrub those pinch rollers. Most people think the tape is pulled from the rotating sprockets -- it's not. The capstan and the pinch rollers pull the tape at a (somewhat) constant speed.
You gotta get in there and really scrub those rollers. The heads will also collect rust of course, but I see a lot of neglected rollers.
