A low-fi audiozine that puts the punk back in cypherpunk.
Pretty nice tapey ambient album here. Also, I kinda dig these paper sleeves. The jcards are easier for me to make, I wonder what kind of adhesive is needed for these to stay together. But I might try it eventually. image
I wonder if Derek Ross can get new Pope on nostr. I would love to hear him pitch his course on how to become pope.
This is bigger than any boost, more valuable than any zap. I feel seen and loved. Thank you 😍 There's been a few cassettes come in lately, thank you all for that. I've been enjoying them! I won't refuse a boost, but this is the great thing about value for value -- value can be shown in different ways. And well, tapes like these, are just... amazing. I think I will use these on Sunday for the Sprouting Symphonies, 1800 Central, liveislit.com where I will be playing back some @Sir HeyCitizen live (from tape). image
Recording a mixtape, on actual tape, from someone who sent in a postcard right now. Cassettes are the low time preference of music media. We are still early into the cassette comeback. Have fun staying poor without cassettes? 🤣 Anyway, you can get yours at:
The CD was called the "freedom format" by Sony. It wasn't a compliment as they realized it was too easy to copy. Which led to super locked down miniDisc and Digital Audio Tape (around format that was higher sound quality than CD).
Tapes for 2.4 are now done! You can listen in a offline podcast player that doesn't track you as you listen. image Get a #v4v tape by sending a postcard:
Review of issue 0.4 from the coolest cassette zine around. It has over 30 pages of reviews of the latest cassette releases. I'll be working on the physical tape release for 2.4 this week so get your postcards in! image
Playing now on radio.bitpunk.fm a nice deep house disco set by @npub13ru8...c9st. If you want to boost the song go to his rss feed: I think there are people working on making an azuracast and thesplitkit plug in, but until then, I'll link the artists feeds somehow.
