I'm making a new music platform y'all! Who wants in?!
No tracking of you IP address, no geoIP restrictions, "censorship resistant," once you have the music its yours, works without the Internet, no DRM, playlists work easily with multiple different players and device manufactures too!
I'm working on my closedsats pitch.

A low-fi audiozine that puts the punk back in cypherpunk.
Everything great about cassettes in a single picture.

But seriously, these end credits:

An $8 steal, wow this is my new power soundtrack. First of all, what a cover! I saw the reel to reel and was sold.
Then, take a read from the back:
"These lyrics, written primarily in Latin, were determined to be the work of renegade monks and wandering poets of the 13th century."
Holy shit, what an epic epitaph for a tombstone. I can only aspire to be this renegade monkey and wandering poet.

And now, I think it's time we go on a trip.

I think this will be my morning music for a while. What pleasant ambient sounds.

And here it it folks, the satellite skirmish Polar Embrace. You are going to want to watch in a podcast app that support video, like podverse, because I went hard on the visuals. The web player also works.
The start of my set is at the link below. I'm glad I didn't hear @boo-bury introduce me, because he was too kind and I would have blushed.
Instead I rolled right into cooling things down.
Before you click play though, get ready for a trip.

Last night I took part in the Satellite Skirmish. Wow, I'm just floored really.
I got to see behind the scenes a bit, but there is a deep community of super passionate and talented people who volunteered to make this happen.
And they are very committed to a value for value ethos that honestly, exceeds sats alone.
I'm into analog, but this was for me, an incredible digital experience.
I've been blowing off life for a bit, so I have to catch up on some things, but to everyone involved and everyone who tuned in live, thank you.
The Satellite Skirmish is tomorrow y'all! It's going to be LIT. So many great bands! I seen a peak of what @boo-bury has done for the stream it's amazing.

Prepping tape loops for Sundays Skirmish.

I received a set of blank cassettes from a listener in the P.O. box.
An excellent form of value returned IMHO, I'm very grateful ๐.
They will be put to good use as I build a shadow cassette library and share bonus tapes with the world.
I'm sure the news will have plenty to say, but veteran suicide, even if it's in a very political focused way is incredibly sad to me.
I won't speak for others, as we are not a collective veteran community, but when I hear of such instances and some are not as public, it's a very dark spectre that reappears.
I wrote this poem yeaterday before I read the letter. Where I try to capture this feeling, this overwhelming sadness, and what at least I'm doing to move on.
I'm OK, but many are not and I wish they find their peace.
