⚔️ FIGHT THE NARRATIVE 🔊
We have to be very aware of how the narrative was redirected and neutered from the top down. And we must continue to fight from the bottom up, especially by educating the newcomers who arrived in waves along with the FOMO.
1) Instead of talking about the beauty of digital cash in the midst of a digitized and centralized control system, they mostly promoted the narrative of NgU, digital gold.
2) Instead of talking about the beauty of encryption to protect our privacy, they pushed the narrative of the “blockchain revolution,” in which everything will be traceable and transparent. Control > freedom.
3) Instead of promoting private property that can actually be owned (in self-custody), they promoted “the perfect collateral” that can be used to mint fake fiat tokens on top of it.
Even do bitcoin is all these things, we must always remember the three pillars of our ancestors: the American founding fathers, the Austrian economists, and the cypherpunks.
They warned us about the despotism of financial institutions and market manipulation, they warned us about central banks and systematic looting, they warned us about the digital prison that was being built during the 80s and 90s.
Bitcoin was created precisely to address these problems and offer a solution.
The philosophy behind Bitcoin is crypto-anarchy, the natural evolution of anarcho-capitalism: against the state, against banks, and against big tech companies. Against collectivism.
In short, against the slavery of fiat (illegitimate authority), not just fiat currency.
The Bitcoin philosophy is in favor of the free market, hard money, and privacy. In short: in favor of individual freedom.
These are the 3 basic pillars we have to always remember and repeat, don’t let them shift the narrative, fight with the truth, use your voice, use the tools you have.
